About This Place

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Las Vegas, Carlito's Cuban Food is a true celebration of authentic Cuban cuisine that invites you to embark on a flavorful journey straight from the island’s rich culinary heritage. Located at 2680 S Maryland Pkwy B, this Cuban restaurant is a beloved local gem where every dish bursts with soul, tradition, and unmistakable warmth.

From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with the inviting aroma of slow-cooked meats, freshly brewed Café Cubano, and subtle hints of tropical spices. Carlito’s menu is a treasure trove of classic Cuban favorites crafted with passion and finesse. Start your meal with irresistible appetizers like the Pasteles De Carne — savory Cuban meat pies that melt in your mouth, or the crispy, golden Papas Rellenas de Carne, perfectly stuffed with seasoned beef. Fans of fried delights will appreciate the Tostones—twice-fried plantains that offer a satisfyingly crisp contrast to the richly sauced entrees.

The heart and soul of Carlito’s shine through in their standout entrees. Their Ropa Vieja Arroz Blanco Y Platanitos offers tender shredded beef stewed in savory olives and peppers, served atop fluffy white rice alongside sweet fried plantains—a harmony of savory and sweet that dances on your palate, as one delighted customer rightly describes it as “absolute magic” and a “full-on flavor explosion.” Meanwhile, the Congrí Mediano and Vaca Frita De Pollo deliver the perfect blend of traditional Cuban spices and textures that make every bite a nostalgic delight.

For sandwich lovers, the iconic Sandwich Cubano at Carlito’s offers layers of juicy roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard pressed between crusty Cuban bread that is both crispy and tender. It’s a genuine taste of Cuban street food culture right in Las Vegas, complemented beautifully by housemade juices and Cuban coffee variants like the rich Café Con Leche or the strong, sweet Café Cubano.

The dining atmosphere here is welcoming and family-friendly, with ample seating perfect for groups looking to savor a shared feast of diverse, bold flavors. Friendly service enhances the experience, making you feel like part of the Carlito’s family from the first bite to the last crumb of dessert.

And speaking of dessert, Carlito’s sweet offerings are not to be missed. Pass on the usual and dive into authentic Cuban treats such as the moist Quinceañera Cake, the creamy Flan, or the decadent Pasteles De Guayaba that bring a satisfying, refreshing end to your meal. One customer’s return visit was inspired solely by the irresistible lure of their Quatro Leche Pastel, a testament to how their desserts keep guests coming back for more.

Carlito’s Cuban Food isn’t just a meal; it’s an immersive cultural experience wrapped in the comfort of hearty, home-style cooking. Whether you’re a Cuban cuisine aficionado or discovering these tastes for the first time, the layers of smoky, sweet, tangy, and robust flavors will leave your senses tingling and your appetite craving the next visit.

Open daily, with a second location recently launched in the Rainbow and Oakey area, Carlito’s dedication to authentic Cuban flavors and generous portions ensures every visit is a treasure trove of new tastes and familiar favorites. If you find yourself in Las Vegas looking for that genuine flavor of Cuba, allow Carlito’s to be your flavorful destination.

I went for the ropa vieja, which is tender shredded beef stewed in savory olives and peppers then poured over a bed of yellow rice. It's absolute magic. Add in those sweet plantains and you’ve got a full-on flavor explosion.

    - BEST Cuban food here in LAS. - MUST try CUBA tamale , CUBAN pizza , and CUBAN sandwich. - Everything is well seasoned. - They service BIG portions. - Plenty of sweet treats like cake and flan to enjoy for dessert. - They have all the common Cuban fav drinks like Jupiña. - Tons of seating for a big group. - It’s a choose your adventure plate which gives you a lot of control to choose what you want from the choices you can see through the glass. - WORTH the stop.

Everytime I go I try to get something different to enjoy all of their options. I love Saturday and Sunday for their oxtails, super tender and flavorful. Their cubano is very tasty with the plantain chips too. It's usually buy one get one, great deal. They offer a variety of desserts, full size cakes as well. They just opened a location on Rainbow and Oakey area so that's nice. Great food, great customer service, highly recommend.

Incredible hidden gem to eat at and enjoy! Family-friendly, friend-friendly, food friendly!!! Traditional and authentic, all the flavors that I miss on a regular basis! This is a wonderful gem that you need to explore and try periodically as there's no way you can taste everything all at once! I had the oxtail with rice and beans and plantains, and my friend had the ribs with the rice and beans and the savory yuka! Need to go back for more, much more!

This is a pretty decent Cuban restaurant they have a wide variety of different foods, All the typical Cuban sandwiches and then they also have a cafeteria buffet style setup where you can make your own plate. The food was really good The reason why I took a star away was because the pricing was not clear at all. Many of the items had pictures but no pricing, and it was also not obvious exactly what you would get with some of the different prices. For example, there were prices written on the glass in front of the item, like 14.99 in front of costillas. I asked a few times does that mean 1499 for just that item, as in a full clamshell of that or is it 1499 for one plate where that is the main item and then there are some side items that are also included? I got different answers every time I asked. Also the buffet was 28.99 which seemed that it did not include a drink, and when I thought about this I realized you would have to eat more than two FULL plates before you even broke even on the buffet so really the buffet is not a good deal. Maybe there are people that sit and eat for hours I don't know so I can't judge the economics of it. In any case it was a good spot I'll probably come back here again I wish they just had a menu that had a little bit clearer pricing and I think then it would be a five star.

I enjoyed Carlitos’s it felt pretty authentic with taste of the food and the atmosphere they did the tables with colors of Cuba and Cuban ???????? flags around to top it off. The food reminded me of Cuban food that was made for me by Cubans so it’s pretty Authentic Cuisine and you have a buffet style presentation you tell the server what you wish to eat and they put together great size portions to eat so come hungry.
